Predicament of Life

[17th May 2002]

1.
Darkness befalls me,
Like clouds that poureth rain;
I am lost in this sea of turmoils,
With nothing to light my path.
My debts weigh my head,
My follies shackled my limbs;
My tears like poison drops,
Haunts every pillar of my faith.

2.
Then rays of salvation shines,
Bringing forth beams of hope;
And setting paths of gold,
To guide my weary soul home.
To my Father, who knows,
My prayers, my everything;
Undauntedly I stand once more,
To face the burden till I'm home.
